The Foundation

Two modules carry everything else.

CDMS and CIAS form the foundation in every package: data models, API access and tenant context on one side, identities, roles and permissions on the other. Every further module builds on top of them.

Additional modules are combined depending on the chosen package and intended use. We deliberately do not publish individual module prices while the scope is determined per project.

Scope and response times are defined in the quote. The person-days shown are the monthly allowance of each tier, not unlimited developer hours. Anything beyond that is billed as engineering services.

Maintenance

Platform updates, bug fixes and continued development of the product. Included in every package price – we do not charge a separate maintenance fee for it.

Support

Support for your team in using and operating the platform. Basic support is part of every package; higher tiers can be added.

Engineering Services

Hands-on technical work on your specific project: architecture, modelling, integration, delivery. Always a separate, named service – either within the monthly allowance of a support tier or by the day at the day rate.

Just a few saved developer weeks can offset a substantial part of the annual platform cost. Across several products and client projects the reuse effect grows accordingly, because the same foundation carries more than once.

The honest calculation is yours to make: how often have you rebuilt roles and permissions in the past three years? How long did it take each time? And how often was it truly finished in the end?

The calculator alongside does not do the maths for you – it structures it. You pick the building blocks your team would have to build anyway, enter your own day rate and estimate how much staffing your own foundation ties up afterwards.

The figures are an order of magnitude for building the foundation once – not a commitment, not a guaranteed saving and not a basis for a quote. Ongoing upkeep is modelled as a share of a full-time position, calculated on 220 working days per year. It covers what a self-built foundation ties up in operation: servers and operations, CI/CD, security and framework updates, added features and support for your own engineering team. The comparison uses the first year, because CodamAI replaces build and upkeep at the same time.

Are prices net or gross?
All prices shown are net prices in euro and are subject to statutory VAT. CodamAI is sold to businesses only.
How long does a contract run?
The initial minimum term is 12 months, billed monthly. The precise contract and renewal terms are set out in the quote.
What is the difference between maintenance and support?
Maintenance covers platform updates, bug fixes and continued development of the product and is included in every package price. Support means helping your team use and operate the platform. Engineering services are hands-on technical work on your specific project.
Can we run CodamAI on our own infrastructure?
Yes. From Professional onwards you can run it on your own infrastructure; Regulated and Enterprise also allow on-premise and private cloud. Build and deployment run through your own CI/CD – GitLab, Jenkins or Kubernetes, for example.
Which modules are included in the packages?
CDMS and CIAS form the foundation in every package. Beyond that, Startup includes one additional module, Professional up to three, and Regulated and Enterprise all modules the project needs. Which modules exist is shown in the module overview.
Is CodamAI suitable for regulated software projects?
CodamAI creates technical prerequisites for projects with elevated quality, documentation and evidence requirements and can be used in GxP-relevant development processes, provided project-specific requirements are implemented and validated accordingly. The regulatory assessment, validation planning and organisational responsibility remain with you.
Can we keep using our AI coding tools?
Yes. CodamAI does not replace Claude Code, Codex or other tools; it connects them to defined platform capabilities through the MCP server. The choice of tool remains yours.
